So you want to be an insurance broker?
To qualify to be an insurance broker in the province of Manitoba, an individual must have completed the fundamentals of insurance
or C.A.I.B. 1 courses offered through the insurance brokers association of Manitoba.
Fundamentals can be taken through home study or a 1-week
immersion course done once a year. The C.A.I.B. course can be
taken through home study, a 1-week immersion course or a 12-week
discussion class. Auto broker technical courses are also offered
through the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba.

Upon completion,
individuals are required to have their level 1 Insurance license
or Autopac certification in order to administer service within an insurance
brokerage. If you currently possess, at minimum, your level 1 insurance license
or Autopac certification, and are seeking employment,
