Over a 25 year span, Winnipeg Insurance Brokers has provided group insurance service to Decibel, Vantis and Assiniboine Credit Union members. We are pleased to announce that effective August 1, 2009, Assiniboine Credit Union assumed 50% ownership of Winnipeg Insurance Brokers. Assiniboine Credit Union continues to offer CUMIS (Credit Union Member Insurance Services) life and disability insurance on loans and mortgages in-branch. CUMIS is one of several insurance providers represented by Winnipeg Insurance Brokers. Therefore, members will continue to receive great rates and automated monthly payment plans plus access to an expanded range of products including auto, travel health and commercial insurance. |

In 1983, Winnipeg Insurance Brokers developed a residential insurance program for a local teachers association.
In the ensuing months, other associations and employee groups endorsed the plan for their members.
Today, our group personal insurance program continues to grow.
